Cody Katzenmaier has been a member of the Prince George's Police Department since June 2013 after obtaining his B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After a 6-month stint on patrol, he joined the District III Special Assignment Team for four years and then moved to the Strategic Investigations Division’s (SID) Gang Unit for the next five.  He is currently the NCO for the SID where he helps manage the day-to-day logistical operations, as well as writing and managing numerous grants for the various units located within the division.  From that work, he took interest in streamlining many of the division's day-to-day functions and grant management systems.  He began to learn how to develop and utilize various web/computer-based programs to manage the division’s logistical processes ranging from grant management to generalized statistical data collection.
