Brendan P. Gill is the founder of the Center for Public Safety Data Science, chair of the Prince George's County Human Trafficking Task Force Data and Analytics Committee, and a distinguished 16-year member of the Prince George’s County Police Department (Maryland) where he serves as a Sergeant in the Information Technology Division overseeing the Special Projects Section. His expertise lies at the dynamic intersection of sociology and criminal justice utilizing data to improve and optimize operational strategies by champion data-driven public safety initiatives.

A passionate educator, Brendan has dedicated substantial time to imparting knowledge in sound data science practices to public safety organizations across the United States.
